swickly, swickly*

*(That's what my sweet niece used to say for "quickly, quickly" when she was a toddler. So cute, and it lives on in our family language.)

I ran out of time for blogging last night, and ended up in bed waaaaaay too late. But this morning I just want to say that:

a: We are all feeling and sleeping so much better, thanks for asking.

b: I made these Zucchini Fritters for dinner last night and they were SO GOOD that they made me wish we had actually planted zucchini this year! They were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside and even the Little Dude ate them (after I sneaked a few bites into his mouth when he was not paying attention).

c: L.D. continues to crack me up with his observations on life and crazy little kid logic. "I'm not picking my nose," he said to me yesterday "I'm just cleaning it out with my finger." Natch.
