So sick. So very sick. So many of us. Sigh. I feel like this is the story of my winter. We are sick for a couple of weeks and then maybe we'll get 5 days of good health and then another virus comes our way and we're all sick again. I'm so over it.
And before you get too alarmed, its just the usual colds/coughs/throat infections. Just unpleasant and a little bit gross (so. much. snot.) but nothing that we won't get through. But still, it sucks.
And my usual "Momimmunity" did not kick in at all this time. I'm just as sick as they are (if not a little bit sicker). I'm thankful though that after the initial kick of it, the boys seem to be surviving it pretty well and are in reasonably chipper moods. Me, not so much. I'm kind of cranky.
But at least there's this: Look at that beautiful cloud formation. Isn't that beautiful? It doesn't look quite as unusual and impressive in this photo as it did in real life, but honestly, it was stunning and quite extraordinary for around here. It was so huge and crisp and laid out in a swath that we all just stood there looking at it for a few moments. It was a nice distraction from the coughing and nose wiping and discomfort. And I'm glad for that at least.
