So we had a big day here last week. I was too busy at the time to blog but I did take pictures, so I could share the big moment with you all.
It'd been loose for awhile, but he did not want us to pull it out for him. I asked "did it come out when you took a bite of something?" "No," he said, "I just pulled on it and it came out in my hand!" He was very pleased with himself.
Of course, loosing a tooth is really only the pre-amble to the main event of waiting for the tooth fairy to arrive. I have to admit that making a cut tooth-fairy pillow thing was always high on my list of crafts-to-make-someday-when-I-have-kids. So it was very pleasing to make this little guy. I know, right? Could that little tooth be any cuter. You put your real tooth in his little mout/pocket for the tooth fairy to find. And the best part is that you hang him on the door knob so that you don't have to go rooting around under a lightly sleeping child's pillow. Genius, I'm telling you.
And the best part of course is how much the Little Dude loves his Lil Toothy. Well worth the effort. And it will come in handy again soon, as we have another loose tooth on its way to coming out! I'm telling you, the excitement never stops around here.
