Ok, so I'm just a teensy bit busy around here these days. I'll be selling my bibs and blankets and other Star Wars related fun at the Movies and Makers Holiday Sale this coming Saturday, (December 15th, 11:00 am to 5:30 pm, 2236 Queen Street East, Toronto) so I am officially into my final crunch-time in the sewing department. Add to that the fact that my part time job at the mall has become a bit more full time-ish, as we are well into the pre-Christmas madness. Oh, and also, the Little Dude's Christmas Pagent program thing is this Sunday night and he has a rehearsal for it tomorrow so my week is packed. Basically, when I'm not making someone food or doing laundry or selling people sweaters, I am sewing my butt off. So its going to be a little less, erm, lavish here on the blog front than usual. But I still want to try and show up here most nights to share a little something with you. Today, its going to be another video. I started hearing this song on the radio, and it warms my little thrift loving heart. If this song had been around when I was (ahem) younger, it would have been my anthem. As it is, on the way to pick up the Little Dude at preschool, the Baby and I rocked out to it while we waited at the stop light. Yeah, I was that lady, the one seated-dancing in her mom-mobile, finger gunning at the Baby over my shoulder on the chorus, making the people in the cars around me roll their eyes. What ever. Haters can kiss my ten-dollar fur coat.
(Um, attention Mom, Mother-in-law, both the Aunt Helens, various people I go to church with: this video is quite swear-y and you will. not. like it. So don't watch it, ok? I promise I'll be back with cute kids stuff in a couple of days.)
Oh, and on a related though much dorkier note, here's the parody version about Dad's being broke and having to shop at a thrift store because its so expensive to raise kids. Cute. (Mom, you're allowed to watch this one.)
awesome.
