I cut out all those little bright coloured triangles....
...and see how pretty they look!
Hubs says he likes how crazy and over-lappy they look and that I should just figure out a way to fuse them all together like this and not sew them "properly". He doesn't seem to understand that sewing them "properly" is not a drag, but indeed, the fun part for me. Getting all the little points and seams to line up, while being a lot of work, is at the same time SO SATISFYING!

Oh, and after all that cutting and layout out, we were tired, so we had to take a nap.
A fake nap of course. I love how the Baby has to literally struggle against himself in order to keep his eyes closed and "pretend sleep" for only just seconds.
He wants to do it (because his brother is doing it) but it is SO HARD for him.
Whereas the Little Dude considers himself a professional fake sleeper, as he has done it on film, dontcha know. Incidentally, that's what he thinks acting is - pretending to sleep. And since we've pretty much both done the same amount of film work, who am I to argue with that definition?
Squee!!! It's going to be so awesome.
