this guy...

...was my favourite thing about today.  A tiny, stripey armed, sock footed batman wearing his best friend, "floppy dog" riding along backpack style. 

I really just could not get enough of this. He walked around like this for about an hour. Eventually he transformed from a doggy-backpack wearing Batman into a lovebale kitty which is his other alter-ego these days. I can't tell which I like better.
